Welcome to Cyprus
Beautifully situated on the outskirts of the village of Kathikas in the hills above Paphos, the villa is a modern property with three double bedrooms, three bath/shower rooms, and a large open plan ground floor with living area, dining area and kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the villa’s private pool, and there is plenty of patio space for seating and sunbeds. To the side of the property is a pergola area for shade, perfect for al fresco dining and barbeques.
We bought our villa in 2012 and have enjoyed every summer in it since. In that time we have had the pool reskimmed, tiled and lined, the patio areas remodelled and tiled to make more space for sunbathing and social areas, a pergola erected, plants and irrigation system installed. We have had it painted internally and externally, and it is maintained year round by a local contractor. The whole villa was furnished from new in 2013.
We are reluctantly parting with it as we need to realise the funds for a new venture.
We are offering this property complete with all indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings, all kitchen appliances and equipment, entertainment items, bedding, crockery and glassware – in fact everything you need to start using your villa straight away.
The property is fully air conditioned, and there is also a log burner for cosy winter visits.
Kathikas is a friendly and picturesque Cypriot village with a number of excellent bars and restaurants all within strolling distance of the villa. It even has its own winery! If you can’t visit all summer, why not rent it out for the weeks you are not using it? We would guarantee you one booking per year (us!).
Live the dream! Spend your days in the pool and your evenings sipping cocktails beside it, watching the sun go down over Kathikas and planning which of its traditional restaurants to visit a short stroll away. Or hire a car and head for the beaches and bustle of Paphos, European Capital of Culture 2017 with its historic centre, picturesque harbour, sunset cruises and lively nightlife.
Why have we decided to market our property in this way?
1. We wanted to use this opportunity to raise additional funds for the following good causes.
- Freddy's Fight for Life
- The National Autistic Society
- The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
10% of all monies raised through this prize draw will be donated to (and shared between) the three charities above, regardless of how many tickets are sold. Details of each of these good causes can be found here.
2. The timescales involved in marketing a property abroad.
3. To give anyone a serious chance of owning a villa in Cyprus!
The odds are far better than the National Lottery.
